Focus on others before your own needs.
Start by Praising God for who He is, for all He is doing, and all He has done.
Praise Him with Thanksgiving, Thank God for every Big and Small thing you can think of that He has done for you or those around you.
Take time to admit your faults and ask God to give you strength and mercy in those areas.
Finally, present your needs to Christ, ask for His intercession and to fill those needs as He sees fit.
Then, Thank God for His Son Jesus, His Grace, and His mercy.
